Electromyogram (EMG)
We provide comprehensive on-site testing and interpretation. If muscles or nerves are affected by injury, disease or another condition, their electrical activity changes.
EMG measures electrical activity in the muscles. Fine needle electrodes are gently inserted into the muscles. Other electrodes are attached to the skin. You may feel a dull ache or pressure. You will be asked to flex and relax your muscles.
